Film & Media Studies

This class develops your ability to identify and analyze basic principles in photography, film and video, and mass/social media. You will command the basic vocabulary of these fields and take a hands-on approach to creating your own works of art and content.

You will become familiar with the foundation of each discipline and begin to recognize the development from classic to contemporary approaches to content creation. The course is divided into focused sections for each theme.

Junior Film & Media: Media Studies, Institutions, Social Media, Representation in Film and Media.
Senior Film & Media: Film History, Historical Movements in Film, Editing and Production, Media Influence and the Social Sphere.
